Why can't I connect my Twitter account?
When trying to connect your Twitter account, you might not be able to see the account listed or you might be getting this error:
This issue is due to recent changes in the Twitter/X domain. The Twitter API still uses the old domain, while your browser may default to the new X domain, causing connectivity problems.
To resolve the issue:
- Clear the website data for the old domain twitter.com
or
- Open Publer in Incognito mode.
- Select Social Accounts on the left of the dashboard and then click the Connect for X/Twitter.
- You will be required to authorize Publer to access your account.
- Finally, make sure you connect the account to Publer.
