Why am I not receiving notifications for internal notes on a post?

To receive Email Notifications for internal notes or approvals:

Go to Email Notifications Settings on Publer.
Enable email notifications for notes/comments and approvals.

When Email Notifications are sent?

For Approvals

Only the creator of the post receives a notification both in Publer and via email, if enabled, when the post is either approved or declined.

For Notes

Last Commenter: The member who last commented on the post will receive a notification for any new comment/note.
Mentions: Any member who is mentioned (e.g., @username) in the comments/notes will also receive a notification, regardless of whether they created the post or commented before.

Learn how to mention members on internal notes here.

Keep in mind:

If a client leaves a comment without mentioning you and you were not the last commenter, you won’t receive a notification.
Notifications are not sent to all members who previously commented on the post.

Pro Tip: To receive a notification directly, both on Publer and via email (if email notifications are enabled), ask your client to mention you (using @username) whenever they leave a comment.

FAQ:

What if my client approves the post but doesn’t leave a comment?

You’ll receive a notification if you’re the post creator.

What if my client is the first to comment, but I didn’t get a notification?

You won’t receive a notification unless you’re mentioned in the comment or they reply to your previous comment.

What if we want all members to get notified for every comment?

At the moment, notifications only go to the last commenter and those who are mentioned. Learn more about internal notes here.
