Why am I getting the Error: "You cannot schedule in bulk duplicate posts as they're prone to being marked as spam"?
While it might be important to repeat the same content for your social media strategy, not all platforms allow you to do that.
When posting in bulk on your socials you might get the error: "You cannot schedule in bulk duplicate posts as they're prone to being marked as spam" if you're trying to post similar or duplicative content.
If you're importing a CSV file for bulk posting, you might have a lot of content you need to go through. To find and remove the duplicate posts, you can use this function from Excel.
Select the cells you want to check for duplicates.
Make sure to select both the Message and Link/Media URLs columns.
On the Home tab select Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cells Rules > Duplicate Values.
In the box next to values with, pick the formatting you want to apply to the duplicate values, and then click OK.
Select the range of cells that has duplicate values you want to remove.
On the Data tab select Remove Duplicates, and then under Columns, check or uncheck the columns where you want to remove the duplicates.
Click on OK.
You can also easily identify duplicate posts by using this feature in Google Sheets.
Select the cells you want to check for duplicates.
Next, go to Data > Data Cleanup > Cleanup Suggestions.
Then, a cleanup suggestions window will pop up on the left side. Click on Review column stats.
A column stats window will appear. Here, you can identify values that have been used multiple times.
By hovering your mouse over each value, the duplicates will be highlighted in the selected column or cells.
After identifying the duplicates, you can proceed to make the necessary adjustments for each of the similar posts. Check out Workaround #3 below to learn more about making the adjustments.
Alternatively, you can remove the duplicates by following the guide below.
Select the cells you want to check for duplicates.
Next, go to Data > Data Cleanup > Remove duplicates.
Then, click Remove duplicates.
After clicking "Remove Duplicates," the duplicates will be automatically deleted, and a confirmation message will display the number of rows or duplicate posts that were removed.
Click the OK button to continue making the changes.
After finding the duplicate content using the function from Excel and Google Sheet, you can spin text and images by using the Spintax Generator in Publer.
