What is the Publer AI Assist?


Publer's AI Assist, powered by GPT-4, is a sophisticated tool tailored to streamline social media management and content creation. With advanced AI algorithms, it helps you generate high-quality, engaging content for a variety of platforms, from social media posts to in-depth blog articles, saving you valuable time and effort.


What’s more, Publer’s new AI Assistant integrates seamlessly into your workflow. It opens as a chat window on the left side of your composer and stays in place while you work, offering a constant, helpful resource. It’s designed to help you write posts, drafts, comments, threads, alt text, signatures, and any other content—all from one convenient space.


The AI Assist will be automatically activated once you subscribe for the Business Plan, or after you connect your OpenAI account. To use the AI Assist features, follow the steps below.

  5. Blog Posts: AI Assist can generate blocks for WordPress-powered sites, rephrase paragraphs, and write entire SEO-optimized articles.
  6. Multiple Languages: Publer's AI Assist allows you to create social media posts in multiple languages.


How to use AI Assist


  • Go to the Create tab.
  • Select the social media platform you want to post on.
  • Click on the AI Assist button at the bottom of the post editor.


  • The AI Assistant will open as a chat window on the left side of your composer and remains visible as you work.
  • Write a detailed prompt, and click the blue button with the arrow to generate text. (see below for examples)


AI can generate text from scratch, but it needs some input to get started. The more specific your prompt, the better and more accurate the results will be.


  • Finally, schedule the post accordingly.


Note: You can always revisit and reuse any of your previous results by scrolling through the AI Assist sidebar. All generated content is saved there, so you can reference or insert it anytime as you work.


Where to use AI Assist?


  • The Create tab (Complete the text / Generate new text)
  • Follow up comments (Comment with AI / Generate new text)
  • Signatures (Complete the text / Generate new text)


Keep in mind:


  • This feature is only supported on the Business Plan.
  • If you have an OpenAI subscription, you can connect your own Open AI key on the Free and Professional plan. Learn more about it here.
  • By default the limit for the returned characters is around 1,300 characters (except for WordPress).
