DesktopStart
Tagging Twitter/X accounts on photos is a great way to engage with your audience or brands/businesses that you are working with!
To tag an account on a Twitter/X photo:
- Go to the Create page on Publer and select the desired Twitter/X account on the left.
- Click on Click or Drag & Drop media and upload a photo.
- On the Twitter/X image, click on the tag icon in the bottom-right corner.
- Type the Twitter handles/usernames into the text box located on the right-side of the photo.
- A tag can always be removed by clicking on the x button.
- Once you have added all the tags, you can click on the Save Tags button.
- Preview your tags on the right-side and schedule the post accordingly.
Keep in mind:
- To tag accounts, you have to select one of the suggested accounts.
- If a Twitter/X account has disabled tagging in its settings, we cannot retrieve that information through the API. Make sure the account you want to tag allows tagging.
- You can tag up to 10 accounts per post and you can spread them out however you like in carousel posts.
You can also mention Twitter/X accounts in the caption through Publer. Learn more about that here.
