How to set up Dub URL Shortener

To set up Dub.co URL Shortener on Publer:

Go to Social Accounts and select an account.
Select URL Settings and click on Dub.

Sign in to your Dub.co account, and select a workspace to grant API access to.
Once you’ve completed those steps, proceed to authorize Publer to access your account.

Then, once Dub is connected, choose whether you want to:

Shorten any link. -- Publer will shorten all the links shared in the caption or comment of the post.
Shorten only link posts. -- Publer will only shorten the main link in the post.

Note: When you choose to shorten only link posts Publer will only shorten the main link in the post. For example, if you choose this option, create a video post, and add a link to the caption, that link won't be shortened. In this case, the link will be shortened only when the post is a link post (with a thumbnail).

If you have a Dub.co paid subscription, you can also choose a custom domain. Otherwise, the default free option is dub.sh.

Additionally, you can also set default tags for the shortened links.

Finally, you can always deactivate Dub by clicking on Disconnect. For more information go here.

Keep in mind, the link will only be shortened after the post is scheduled/published, so you cannot see the changes when you preview the post.
