How to change who I am Posting as for WordPress accounts

What does the "Posting As" setting refer to?

When you share your articles to a WordPress site, you can specify who you are posting the articles as. In this case, it can be any of the writers on your site.

Note: This is only possible for WordPress sites, as that is how they are designed. On the other hand, the posts will simply be shared as the specific social account, for all the other accounts. For example, when posting to a Facebook/LinkedIn page, the post will simply be shared as the page itself.

Warning: If you cannot see your profile/page show up in the dropdown, please make sure to reauthorize the account first.

Specify who you are "posting as" for your WordPress site:

To change the setting of Posting as you need to navigate to Accounts > WordPress > Settings > Posting as .

You can click on the dropdown menu and change the Posting as setting.
After choosing the one you wish to use, you can view it there and also on the Create composer.

Posting As here is different from Posting using Owner/Member API credentials. Post using Owner or Member API credentials does NOT mean that the owner’s or user’s name will show up on the social media channels – that is not possible. On social accounts, you always post as the account itself -- except for WordPress.

On WordPress accounts, there can be several writers. Through Publer, you can choose who you are Posting as on that WordPress site.
